That type of starter is fairly common . The nose casting is different on G2 hemis but parts are around. Google starter rebuilders.

I found one of those boots at a local -hole in the wall- starter and alternator rebuild shop.
You know the one where there is only one guy and he is way out back and no one is in the office. His first response was no I don't have that.--Then he said to wait for a sec.--and he came back with just what you are looking for that I also needed.
Sometimes extracting things like this from full shelves is like pulling teeth.
BTW I also bought a new set of field coils for that same starter from that guy.

I know nothing about them. In my case, my starter was solid and had the proper date codes that placed it to be a proper direct drive starter for a 69 hemi eng. I chose to rebuild it myself to ensure I would retain what I had.
Sending out a "core" like this made me nervous and frankly rebuilding it myself was rather easy.

I had mine rebuilt locally by a place with a long standing good reputation. They did a great job and put a new boot on mine. I can get you their name if you still need a boot.
