Glad I went with H pipe. Had to cut the pipe at the H and re-weld to make the pipe fit to the header flanges.X or H Pipe, i'm waiting on my motor but i've purchased my tti headers. Not sure to go xpipe or hpipe.
The X pipe is ever so slightly quieter with a smoother sound where the H pipe is a little more radical. If you want that muscle car cam chop, use the H pipe. It is more pronounced over the X pipe.X or H Pipe, i'm waiting on my motor but i've purchased my tti headers. Not sure to go xpipe or hpipe.

I am still not convinced either one would be worth doing on a 3 1/2" free flowing (home built mufflers) , dumped in front of the rear end. Bragging here > no drone , not excessively loud!TTI has an X or H pipe exhaust set up.
If your cobbling your own exhaust, a simple H or X pipe from Summit or Jegs will work fine. IMO, an H is easier to install. You just need to cut and fit it in. Not a hard thing to do. A little time consuming.
