Tuner needed

Long story short......my buddy that knows the Holley Terminator was supposed to come over this morning and tune my car. Never showed up, texted me around 2 and said he wasn’t able to come cause the tire shop took 5 hours to mount a tire. Ok, no biggie. But then says it would have messed up his afternoon plans if he came over. Now here’s why I’m pissed.

I ALWAYS help him work on his Duster, brakes, trans, ****, I built the narrowed Dana 60 and installed the 4 link. I even helped him drop the transaxle out of his wife’s Fird Focus and install throw out bearing and reinstall the damn thing. When he calls, I’m there. I’ve been patiently waiting for this for tuning session for months, to no avail.

So if anyone is around the Fresno area, I could use the help. I’ll supply the adult sodas.

Yes it does. But I have a tune in it, and I have had another buddy (from Texas) that made some adjustments and I need to load that tune into the ecu. Problem is I’m trying to learn how to use this and finding it frustrating to say the least. If I can find s person that would watch what I do on the computer and show me how to do what I need, I can pick it up from there. I learn by doing, hands on so to speak.

Check for an Auto trade school in your area you might be able to get some help there. Might be able to get your car done right there.

If I understand what Ive been reading you can save your current tune on a flash drive just in case you really screw up!!! Lol!!! You need to hurry up and learn all this crap for the Terminator so I can bother you about it later when I finally get mine online!!!

5.7 sorry for your problems. take a step back and take a deep breath you got this handled. hell you built the car and everything else. you can do it and you will do it better because you don't need any help. so turn on your computer and fire it up and give us some up dates.

Well, I tried. Got nowhere fast. I’m just not finding out how to get the email tune to the Holley V4 so I can send it the ECU. My brain is mush, so I’m done trying for today. This has to be super easy and I can’t figure it out.

Send me a pm, I should be able to walk you through how to get your tune from your email to your ECU. I uploaded a custom tune from my email (had a vendor write a custom tune for my SRT) to my handheld and installed it into the ecu in my charger.
