I just took the trash cans out to the curb, it's chilly. I think it's 57 at 9 pm. Supposed to get into the 40's at night this week. The Summer Solstice is still a couple of days away. June 21st.
It used to bug me as a geologist why temperatures continue to get hotter after the Summer Solstice and colder after the Winter Solstice around December 20th. It's the oceans. Their temperatures are slow to react to the tilting of the Earth's axis.
