I don’t think my post was “worthless”, I let everyone know who I am and where I’m from and what I have. I’ll send pics when I get home from vacation as soon as I get a chance. Hopefully sometime this weekend. Thanks for the overwhelming response on the welcome wagon everyone!

Welcome from NJ. We'll let it go this time since you were on vacation; but the clock is tickin! LOL:D

don't take the "worthless" remark too seriously...we just love mopars....and they don't need to be show cars!

Hello everyone. Just joined the site after searching the forums and looking around for several weeks. From what I have seen there is a lot of good information and a lot of activity. I look forward to all this site has to offer from the knowledgeable members and I hope I can contribute in some way through time.
I own a restoration and custom shop in western pa, which is a 2-man operation. I’m not looking to advertise my business with this post, just letting you know what I do and my level of involvement with cars.
I bought my first and only b-body in 2008 and still have it. It’s a 69 Charger, 383-4bbl, 727, 8 3/4, factory disc brake, console, bucket seat car. Blue with black vinyl top and black interior. It is all factory except for the tti headers that were on it when I got it, and tti exhsust that I put on.
I found a 1969 c-body 440 with 727 that I plan to build and swap while saving the numbers matching drivetrain. A Dana 60 rear is in my future plans as well.

Got home today and took a couple pictures to share. She’s dusty and hurt (trans is wiped) but will be back on the road hopefully soon. Thanks.

Welcome from Mid-Michigan. Love the old Chargers. Congrats.

My 13 year old is a charger fan, especially the 69. And he's also a barn find fan so he says get it road worthy and leave it like it is.

Tell him he’s right. The original intake and carb are in the trunk, just the way I bought it. Previous owner put on R/T badges and the 440 pie tin on the air cleaner, the mopar aluminum intake, and the headers. Bought the car on eBay and picked it up in charlotte from a storage unit. Guy was going through a divorce and told me there was no way he could get me the factory exhaust manifolds or the build sheet, both of which were at his soon to be ex’s house. Sure wish I could get that build sheet. Don’t know why people don’t keep stuff like that with the car.

I lived in NJ at the time. Drove home to NJ after visiting family here in western PA. During the trip home he called me a week early and said i needed to consider getting the car ASAP (it was already paid for) because his soon to be ex had just taken a sledge hammer to his Harley and she had access to the car. I cleaned out the car trailer and got a buddy to ride shotgun. Left NJ at 10pm that night and drove all night to Charlotte. After loading the car we turned around and drove home. It was a 42 hour trip for me without sleep. It was a memorable trip but I’m wiser now and would not do that again. Hotels are cheap compared to what could have happened while driving home.

Welcome from South Central Pa. I guess with a crippled trans. there's no chance it will be running around Carlisle in eleven days. EEK... eleven days to Carlisle!

Been to Carlisle many times. In my younger days I used to walk every inch of that place twice, including "the hill". I once carried two 1967 pontiac bumpers from one end to the other over my shoulder with a grin ear to ear. I won't make it this year but I look forward to future trips.

Welcome aboard. Don't know where abouts you're from... I grew up in Punxsutawney. Moved out here to OH in "93. I sold my 69 Charger just before I moved (yeah, I'm an idiot).:BangHead: I still miss her, but I'm rebuilding a 68 Coronet presently. Good to have you on here!
