Hey all, Recently got my dream car, Mopar B-body. It's a 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite. Been a race car most of it's life. No fender tag anymore, I was told by previous owner it was originally 383, 4 speed car. Owner before me was building it to be a XDR class car, but class progressed quicker than his budget. It has mild steel 25.5 cage, Calvert rear suspension, been lightened up, with mix of fiberglass and aluminum parts replacing factory steel. My plan is a nitrous big block street/strip car, kind look like a A-12, red paint with satin black hood and a relatively close to stock looking interior. I'm in the process of moving from Arizona to Kentucky, so it will be a bit before I post any progress with it but still trying to collect parts and piece along the way.

Welcome to the forum!

Congrats on the Sat! What are your plans for the car?

Welcome aboard, tons of expertise here. You sure have a fabulous start there. Can't wait to hear how it progresses.

Welcome to the forum!

Congrats on the Sat! What are your plans for the car?

Thanks, Not 100% sure yet on the plan. I have 383 block, I may build 490-496ci stroker, with a most likely a Nitrous Outlet nitrous system. I have a glide, and the car has a Moser Fab 8 3/4 rear end with Strange aluminum bolt through 3rd member. My goal is it to be street driven for car shows and Saturday night stuff. Have it run as quick as I can afford it to run.

Sure don't look like a street only car, but what ever. Big stoker motors are common & fairly reasonable on price. 400 low deck or 440 RB your choice. The 400 block seems like a better starting point than a 383 IMHO. If you go with the glide make sure you have all the "trick" HD aftermarket parts in it. Good luck.

Welcome from Indiana. Great project. Hope you like humidity, moving from Arizona. Our son and daughter in law moved to Ky. last year, you’ll have to learn to say “Y’all” to fit in.

Welcome from North Carolina. Nice roller you have there. TONS of potential.
