Weather looks good, NO RAIN!
My wife and I are going!
I know they have their detractors on this forum, but we LOVE watching Street Outlaws!
Heading there from South Louisiana Thursday morning...
Anyone going?

It brings interest in the sport. I’m all for it.

Wish I lived closer, I’d go in a heartbeat.

I’ve been wanting to go to one of their events but just haven’t had the time. Occasionally Jeff Lutz will drive past my house and rattle the windows. That thing sounds great. Will have to plan on getting to one of their races before summers over.
Hope you have a good time, let us know how it was when you get back.

My buddy told me today that they are coming to Summit Motorsports Park ( Norwalk, Ohio ) weekend of Oct. 5th.

Close to home and a great time of year. I think I’ll make that one. Thanks.

Races at Memphis International Raceway were great. Just about EVERY driver was cordial to me, my wife, and their fans in person. Farmtruck and Azn were OUTSTANDING again in person, GREAT personalities!
Farmtruck and Azn hosted a "Daily Driver" event and although they had a decent number of cars (appx 24 x 2 wheel drive and 8 4WD vehicles) they encouraged spectators to enter and waived the entry fee. My wife decided to take the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid-instant electromotive 100% torque...lol-down the track for fun and she was the only female to race. She "treed" the competition but got beat to the 1/8th.
Anyway the whole event was great, temps were actual 97° BRUTAL heat!
The coolest thing was getting discreet "word" from someone watching that JJ da BOSS and his crew were going to have ACTUAL street races in "an industrial area" of Memphis without the film crews, in other words THE REAL DEAL so we went to check that out!! We got the address and headed out. We had to leave around 2AM so we could get up early to make the trip home. It was great, and the area was perfect for the races. JJ and the rest of his crew were very nice in person as well.
Here's a few pix:
