I'm as east as you can get in FL and I've never seen those !

Yep heard something on the news but never seen anything like that. But nothing lives in Arizona but lizards. Never see them because they're hiding under a rock

We have them here in Tx but we call them asp..sometimes you find the in the soil or on trees.... never touched one though...

Yep, wife got bit(stung) by one 2 wks ago on her finger. Went numb in a matter of minutes. Even the trees in the neighborhood park have them.

Yep we have them in TX. Have had a few friends over the years who bare the scars of having them drop from trees onto their skin.

Hell yes. I was stung on my arm and it was extremely unpleasant; and nauseating for hours on end. The pain was sharp at the sting site and then radiated up my arm and into my chest. Nauseous and sweating for hours. I was a teenager at the time. My parents probably should have carted me off to the hospital. Anyway, the marks/scars on my arm were visible for years.

I've seen the moths a couple of times, but never the caterpillar.

Even the moth is a "WTF is that" moment.

strange deals for damn sure

Puss Catepillar, I thought you were talking about a C-13!

I'll take a Cummins thank you.

I called them an Asp back when I got stung as a teen. That’s funny I see this here, because a buddy of mine and I were supposed to go fishing last Saturday and he was stung while trimming trees so we didn’t go. A few days later he tells me it was a puss catapiller. Plenty of them here in Texas.
