From the pics, it seems like they're setting more fires then their putting out. Also look like Soldiers marchin off to war. I'd really like to know what Cal Fire does in the off season as far as clean up and Forest Management to prevent more fires? Judging by what's happening and what I've seen since I've lived in the west. I'd venture to say, "not much, if not anything"!

I know they are, or have been setting back fires to help contain the fire. It did look as if they were going to war. In away they are. Couldn't tell you what they do on their off-season.

I was reading a article earlier today about how CA. has stopped a lot of programs that would allow less fires to happen in the state. One of them is the lack of grazing [Free Grazers] of hillsides as well as timber management and harvesting in forested areas. There's others items that they've cut, but I don't need to say anymore as those 2 are real big contributors.

Not to mention to fact that the drought we’ve had killed millions of trees. Can’t do much about Mother Nature.

it was started by a guy getting a flat tire &
sparks from him driving on it & his rim set it off

The millions of dead trees are far more from Bark Beadles
& not as much draught
Calif. is in a state of draught all the damn time,
according to the Negative Nancy's/Tree huggers
it's media hype/propaganda BS

I hope the people on the front line stay safe

My neighbor across the street is a big wig Cal-Fire guy
been a really busy year, like most years in the summer
this season has a shitload more fuel with
PG&E downing a crap load of trees
& not cleaning it up after the fact

there's a lot more to the whole state & all the fires than
"just a draught BS"

Stay safe people & I hope the firefighters do the same...
