I am not an avid reader. Mostly I read car magazines, and internet news. We are going on vacation cruising to Bermuda next week. I will need something to keep busy if my back gives out and I end up stuck on the ship more than I would like.

What I have read are Bill Oreilly's killing series of books. Very good history of the U.S. I like thriller novels and science fiction.

Reading suggestions?

I just finished "The Sisters Brothers". It's Fiction/Western so not really your genre but I found it to be a great read. Also, not surprisingly, being made into a film which is set to be released in a few weeks.

Get a real 'factory service manual'
for what ever year/model your working on
read it, make notes etc.

War & Peace, it's 1300+ pages

The Art of the Deal by Pres. Trump :poke:

Mopar Engines 9th edition P5249704, some 850 pages
'speed secrets & racing modifications V8 & 6 cylinder engines'

sorry I'm not really much of a mystery, novels or science fiction guy

I was gonna' suggest the Bill O'Reilly books too...

I am not a big reader myself; I think it ruins your eyes, but...................................
"Raising the Hunley" is a real page turner! Was lost underwater for 135 years and considered to be a hoax until they found it! That and "The Sultana" the story of the biggest American maritime disaster in our history! You might guess that I am a bit of a Civil War buff.

Pay for my ticket & I'll keep your wife entertained while you read.

Sure send me your info. I will attach a pic of my wife. She's the one on the right

you like thrillers/fiction/political.
read tom clancy's series, from red october, to red rabbit.
executive orders, the 7th in 9 book series.................. could kinda really relate, to the political football in dc at the present

I ve read killing Kennedy , not impressed, bill to me is sold out.
if you like political books James Perloff , The council or foreign relations and the American Decline.
is a eye opener of who pulls the stings in the world

Oh man, I have the Ramcharger's book and I still need to read it! Thanks for reminding me!

The Poseidon Adventure.

Any of Daniel Silva’s books. The whole series featuring Gabriel Allon - once you read one you can’t wait to get the next one. I’ve read all of his books and wait with bated breath for,the next one to come out - about one new book a year. He writes about the Israeli Moussad and capturing and killing terrorists. They are page turners

If you want something non-automotive, try Bill Bryson. I really enjoyed "At Home"
