Craigslist super deal! I think not.

This looks more and more like a scam. Hopefully someone finds him out and takes him for a ride.......
 
VERY oddly worded ad.

LOTS of hype, and very little actual facts about the car.
 
What are they trying to accomplish with this type of add?

It's obvious what they do. They copy pictures from one add and the text or description from another add. Easy to do. Then they fish for one "Charlie Tuna" that's interested and talk them into sending them a deposit to hold the car. Then they disappear.

I've seen this 20 plus years ago on Ebay. This one seller had a whole collection of pristine muscle cars, and he had them listed cheap. No sooner Ebay caught up with him and deleted his adds, he would pop up on there again with a different seller name and a new cars. They're out there! Deal too good to be true? It probably isn't!

I'm thinking this add is legit for this car.

I guess that's why I didn't understand how they work, If you send somebody you don't know that kind of money for a deposit on something like that you deserve to get scammed.
