how do I figure out which one I need? A friend gave me a ps box for my 70 Bee but I think the box is a 73. I believe there is 2 sizes, what do I measure? thanks for any help.

The steering box shaft determines the size. Cars prior to 73 had the smaller arm while 73 and up the larger size. Your box could have been changed so best to measure. I don't remember actual size because I'm away at the present time. Hopefully someone here knows physical sizes involved and will help out.

also can I install the steering box without pulling the motor? pull exhaust manifold?

it installs from underneath.......just snake it out from the underside and the reverse back in....

Did a little research and the small box shaft is 1.11" and the large shaft is 1.22". Hopefully you have the larger shaft but measure to be sure.
