Please let me know if anyone finds it! No reward though.....

Is your car a '68 VW bug? Check the trunk
Had a 71 VW Super Beetle.....ended up hating that car to the max. Always said I'd never have one but got one for cheap. 500 bucks for one with 30k miles on it and it was the worse car I ever had!!! And when I sold it after I got tired of messing with it, I ended up very glad to see it gone......after it came back 2 freaking times!!

Drunk posting.....lol.
Naw.....but thinking about it lol

dude up the street moved in this biker broad....... his panhead engine was in the house..... he had to go out of town for work..... when he got back, they were both gone :nutkick:

I personally like the old Bugs. Obviously, slow as hell, but those things got like 50mpg WAY before anyone ever thought about catalytic converters or mileage requirements.

My dad owned a 1958 VW Bug. It had no gas gage (lever on floor for 1 gal. reserve tank) and you turned on the heater with a white knob on the floor. I learned to drive a stick in that car.....speed-shifting (no clutch), with my left hand, when I was 4 yrs. old.

I've thought about building (or just buying pre-built) one converted to a "baja version dune buggy type". One of the few cars (maybe the only one) that I appreciate that won't do 160+ miles/hour.
