Looking to find my '65 Satellite a new home. It's a 383 with a 727. No rust that I know of.
Bought the car about 7 years ago out of Texas and slowly did a few things to it. It drove sloppy so I added a PST polygraphite bushing kit and disk brakes up front. The cam doesn't pull enough vacuum to work very well, so would need either a pump or cam change. Car didn't align well because one control arm apparently is slightly bent but it still drives ok.
The last thing I had done to the car was put it in a paint & body shop in 2015. I was trying to get this car finished as my dad was battling cancer. He passed away so I have lost interest in finishing it. The paint guy ended up taking a bunch of my money and really did nothing more than remove all the trim, so it's ready to have someone get after it.
I have a brand new windshield, front bumper, weather stripping set, cat whiskers for door, and a few other seals and stuff, all from Stephen's Performance. The pics were from before I sent it to the paint guy in 2015, but it pretty much sits the same way (minus all trim). Car is sitting under a carport in Hueytown, Alabama right now; I haven't touched it in 3 years. I expect it would start with a battery and probably move with a little trans fluid added. Not sure on the market right now, but it's a pretty straight car so I'll start at $9k and listen to offers.
Here's the car before I took to paint shop:
Here's the car washed and loaded up to go to paint shop:
Here's car at paint shop:
Here's car when I picked it up:
And how it sits right now:
