I need to pull the passenger side quarter glass to reattach the chrome seal holder. Are there any roller replacement kits available? The kits I have found only go to ‘70 or ‘73-‘74.

I haven't seen one for sale yet.
that doesn't mean it doesn't exist,
but the odds would be pretty slim if you knew me well..

Vertical quarter glass seal ? On my 74 Charger I can remove and reinstall the seal molding with glass in place!

He is working on the chrome edge seal holder not the seal...

yes I know the vertical piece attached to glass... right ?

that is just snapped in straight to the glass.

I can't think on some other "seal holder" quarter glass related ?

sorry I'm I'm thinking on the wrong part ???

These are riveted on at the base if I recall so it's easier to remove the glass to re attach them unless the qtrs. are cut off.....

well... not on my car... I know 71 Chargers get a glass installed on a pot metal frame. Maybe 71 Plymouths too and thats why that mold is riveted somewhere ? dunno.

His seal retainer is nothing like what you posted it IS riveted on. Here is a 71 rear window assembly.

Oh OK... must be a 71 deal because glass is onto a pot metal frame just like 71 Chargers. Maybe 72 Plymouths are like 73/74 Chargers using in fact same glass ? ( opening is the same ). Chargers got the change on 72 from the pot metal frame to the full glass piece

My quarter glass has brand new seals, the chrome seal holder is pulled away.

Here's a pic of '71 Plymouth quarter glass. I don't see the rivets on these???

Are there two different '71 Plymouth types? Fixed & roll down??

I think this pic is from moparmarks.

yes, Coupe models got a glass mounted on a bracket to fill the quarter glass opening. Non regulator on them

I think you should be able to push it in and that will reinstall it. As far the rivet is in place I can't see a reason to remove the glass. Is just pivoting the rivet.

as mentioned, on my car is simply pushed into the glass... it gets a filler inside it of course to fit tight to the glass

In addition to the rivets and to insure that the glass fits tight into the stainless trim and not to leak as well, you will need a length of glass setting tape to fill that area. Most larger glass shops should have it in stock as it comes in various thickness as well.
