Decided to change the fluid in the differential this morning and with very little pressure the filler plug broke. It's still in there and sealed just no way of getting it out with out removing the cover. Been looking on line and can't find a gasket and filler plug for a Dana 60 9 3/4 anywhere. Thanks, Don

The gasket you could make yourself.
Is the plug just an NPT?

Latest tech is to use sealer on the cover and no gasket. Prob why they are hard to find.

How does the fill plug break off? Go to hardware store, nothing special.

Will do. Thanks

lubelocker makes an LLR_D060 for a dana. Felpro still makes it, go to their website or check Rockauto for Dana gasket. The Lubelocker I got fro Summit Racing.

If your really intent on putting in a gasket instead of using an RTV or Silicone gasket maker, I have found that many auto parts places sell a "roll" of gasket material, from which I have made many gaskets from, in the past. Just make sure you get a roll that is large enough for your Differential Cover. It's your car, so its your choice which product you use. Good luck either way!

No need for a gasket. Clean with RTV is leak proof. 6 years on my Dana, never a drip.

Lubelocker says reusable using on 2 different applications work great so far no sealer
