... just had some bloke in a jag' try his luck on the dual carriage way ... Suffice to say satellite 1 - jag' nil
Unfortuantely it came at a price ....
Lost my header badge ... Gutted
If anyone has one spare and is looking to sell I'm now in the market
Doesn't have to be perfect as good used will be a better ' fit ' for my satellite
I was gonna pull over to try and get the badge back but there's no hard shoulder ..
 
Yes it is in bad shape but make an offer see what happens. I used to have one that had a broken stud but I seem to have lost it. I would have given it to you for shipping.
 
Many thanks carman and rjs , I've put both of those used ones on my eBay watch list ,ive also seen the repro ones as well but they're not my cup of tea at all... way too shiny and no centre logo ? ( Qué cringe) maybe I should just buy one and be done with it but I'd rather wait a few weeks have a deal with a member here first ...
Cost of replacing lost emblem - anywhere up to £250+
Cost of extra fuel burning up the jag' £10
Look on the jag' drivers face as the satellite nailed him ..... Priceless
 
I don't want to get your hopes up but I may have one that could be usable. I am not sure if I accidentally threw it away though when I cleaned up my parts room. I will check when I get home tonight and if I do still have it and you want it, it's yours free with the cost of shipping. If I do still end up having it, I will attach pictures too so you can see if its worth it.

I know but I enjoy helping other members out when ever possible and this is something I wouldn't use on my roadrunner. Unfortunately because of that, I threw it away when I cleaned up my parts room a few months ago. I thought I still had the bag in there but apparently I threw it out. I'm really sorry. I would have love to see it go to someone and be used.

Did you ever find the header emblem you needed? I was going through my stuff last night and found the one I thought I lost. It bot perfect but i do think it will polish up nicely. It's yours free if you pay for shipping if you want it.

Ron ( RJS ) Did me a huge favour which I'm very grateful for and my wife picked up the badge he kindly sent over to her hotel in N.Y. in December.. i still have it but not fitted as yet as my header panel needs a minor repair due to a 'rust worm '..:(

Funny you should say that mate ... my pal has said he would sort it for me and he is very good however time seems to slip past ... so atm I'm thinking as no one will ever know it's there I'll probably go with a blend of silicon or a few dots of my brother in laws ' NASA approved ' glue ... was trying to avoid it but the sun keeps poking its head out and everytime I look up its almost taunting me and the car ... lmao
