My source (Bob at Mopar Corporate) told me last year they wait until they have 100 orders and then cast another run of them. Until that happens, they show as 'out of stock' on all the aftermarket sites who sell them.
I picked up a complete MP air cleaner assembly with the filter off the local Craig's List for $1 more than that guy in the ebay ad wants for just the top. They're out there, you just have to be patient and jump at the right time.

When trying to buy one, don't make insultingly low offers when someone offers one to you and says... Make a reasonable offer and it's yours.

Give it a rest guy....I offered...you refuse to counter offer...let it go.
For the record..I told you I have been known to insult with my offers...you still refused to come up with your own number...treating it like it's some huge secret. Well I'm not going to talk you into selling it... which it sounds like you need. I'm also not going to pay more than MSRP for a used lid....that's missing its proper bottom, stud and spinner nut. Why do you think it's so damn valuable? Because they took a break from manufacturing? Give it a few months...maybe a year...production will start again. And they will sell for 89-99 bucks brand new.
Again I say good luck sir.
