This AAR is possibly THE finest example of one, period.
Bad (in a good way) looking A-body, with a 472 Gen 2 HEMI under the hood! It shows AND goes!
Yeah BOY it's got a HEMI!!!!
This was a really subdued, classy look for the Charger, but it has some serious binders behind those nice looking wheels. 4 wheel discs, big ones too. I see the big oval 6bbl style air cleaner, all glossy like, but I don't know what is under it. Super clean car. Hard not to like the hidden headlights. This is one of those cars I would line up next to and figure it's a easy win...looks can be deceiving. Still, I ain't skeered... lol
Clean and knock your eyes out looks too! The vinyl top keeps it from demanding sunglasses to be able to withstand viewing it, and looks good w/the color combo IMO. That's this sweet 340 motivated A-body Duster:
A couple more pics of my bad girl. I am happy to say that she is running well again. Not at 100% yet, but way better than Cruisin the Coast. I had got my 3 Holley 2bbl carbs back from Promax, after they put just about everything they offer into all 3 carbs, a day or 2 before the week of Cruisin the Coast...Long story short, any and all fuel system components MUST BE FLUSHED before they are installed or used! I wound up with what I believe are stainless steel braid slivers in my 3 carbs and that was especially bad for the center carb Promax metering block! Took off the fuel lines and flushed them out (like I should have before I installed them) saw the debris and took apart all 3 carbs. Flushed out every orifice in all 3 with carb cleaner under pressure and put them back together. The blue reusable carb gaskets are AWESOME!
Anyway that fixed the crappy running engine issues and I actually enjoyed driving the 45 miles there!
