This is a new Mopar performance heavy-duty crankshaft for a 318 or 340 (P5007256). I was going to build a big inch sleeper car using my 318, but I sold the car so no longer need this brand new crank.
Asking $375.
It's heavy so I prefer local pickup or I may be able to deliver to limited areas.
Thanks

what CID does it make in a 318, and do you need custom pistons?

These usually result in a 390 in a 318 with a .030 overbore.

That's what I was thinking.

Hi, Depends on the overbore, but with a stock 318 it would probably be close to 390 CID and with a 340 it is something over 400 CID. This is a standard MOPAR Performance piece so I believe piston manufacturers make pistons for the stroker engines.

I bought this from Summit and was going to use this in a Charger with 318 I had along with a cam optimized for low-end torque and a set of 2.94 gears for a nice cruiser. However, I sold the car before I could use this crankshaft.
Thanks,

Is this crank cast or forged? Is this a 4inch arm? Thanks. Kim
Hi,
I believe it is a cast crankshaft. This crankshaft provides a 4 inch stroke so that would be 2 inches from the center line of the main bearings to the center line of the rod bearings.
Thanks,

I see the op has been on but never answered any questions. I’m out. Kim
Hi, I don't usually post when I check the forums from my phone; I wait until I can log on to my desktop. If anyone has a question that needs a more immediate response please PM me your phone number and I will call you.
Thanks,
