Car has arrived! I’ve added a few pics, but I really needed to get the car home at the time of delivery.

First impression: Drives like a sofa on ice skates. Power steering. Is this what I just don’t quite remember from 1969? (No rattles or clunking, & looks like bushings, etc. were addressed as part of the restoration).

Brake lights don’t work & clutch engages at *high end* of pedal travel. I hope these are just... 1)a bad brake light switch &... 2)a simple clutch adjustment (less than 1,000 miles since the restoration in 2002).

I’ll pursue advice on both these issues, in the appropriate forum sections, unless anyone has any “pointers” for me here to start out with.

I did buy the [2 Volume] 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Service Manual. Ready to do battle!

Looks very nice! Stock Chrysler power steering is WAY over assisted.

Title transfer & registration complete!
Brake lights fixed! (replaced the switch)
Now over to the Tech forums with questions!
Thanks for all the warm welcomes here.
Rick

Welcome to FBBO Rick..

The RR looks great, and it looks like you dodged a bullet buying unseen. Congrats.

Yup, looks nice from that angle....and how near Houston are you? Anything closer than 75 miles is too close! lol. Sadly, I'm in Stinkerderner......way too close :D Welcome to the site!
I’m up near Conroe, TX, about an hour north of Houston.
“Stinkerderner” .... I don’t know what that refers to.
Wondering if you’re in the Houston area!

Pasadena.....the city earned the nickname back when the paper mill was still in operation but that thing has been gone for a lot of years now and no one complains lol. But the only time you could smell it was when the wind was out of the north or north east. The Shell refinery is usually the worst offender now but even the refineries aren't so bad anymore. I'm located due south of Deer Park and am barely in Pasadena.

Hey, do you know of any active MOPAR clubs or events in the Houston area? Or good “resources”.... specialty salvage/parts yards or good mechanics/garages?
Not so much anymore....haven't been out running salvage yards in years. I think the Houston Mopar Connection Club still exists. Houston isn't a Mopar town at all but is very much GM with Ford running a distant 2nd and Mopar is way down the list. There are a LOT of Mopar guys in and around Houston though and I can point you to some of them. One thing you can do is start a new thread like "Houston Area Members......" and go from there as many will respond.

Sweet! The tits look just as nice as the *** did in your original post. She’s a nice looking bird!
