hello I need a little help I have come across a 426 wedge stage 3 it’s on a 4 speed transmission has everything just missing exhaust manifolds how much ball park is it worth any help would be greatly apreciated

Zero without pictures of engine to start with.

What identifies it as a 426, or stage III to you? Year? It could be worth a small fortune. It could be a boat anchor, no joke.

What ever became of those guys?? That is still a very informative site to this day.

I just asked if it’s the stock tranny but I seen they made the 4 speeds in 64 the guy is guna get me the numbers in a day or so but it’s a 426 wedge with stock carbs intake etc he said he not sure if it stage 2 or 3

what shape is it , stored in side ? just the intake n carbs with air cleaners @ 2k plus i would think ? i would not sell mine for that , but buying is different then selling .

this is a 63 stage 2 intake with holleys on it .

It's worth quite a bit if its real and in real good shape, even without the exhaust manifolds. I've seen people here asking 10K+ for a motor like that, but it really all depends on condition, and if you can verify what you are looking at. I've also seen people asking 10k+ for a 440 with a crossram, and basically everything else incorrect too, so that's why you will see skeptics. If you are close, get some pix and better information for a better idea of the true value.

It’s currently sitting in a dodge Polara 500 cars for sale as well but needs full restoration I will get some pics and the numbers but he says it’s a max wedge block with the max wedge head max wedge intake manifold and max wedge carbs but like I said when I get more pics or go see it will kee updated I really appreciate the help guys my dad is a 409 guy I’d love to race his dual quad 409 Biscayne against this engine

Well I wasn’t really looking for it someone asked if I was interested cause they know I’m doing a 68 coronet so I figured if I can get a good deal I’d grab it asking 6g for supposedly a 426 wedge just missing exhaust manifolds sitting on a 4 speed I ouldnt really find engines for sale to gyage a price but I thought this might be a pretty good deal or maybe it’s not

All 426 wedges (non hemi) are becoming scarce, as well as 413's, and 361's. But of course a Max Wedge would be top 'o the heap value wise. 413's are still a lot easier to get tho, since they were used heavily in big Chryslers, but they aren't any easier to get pistons for. HTH, Lefty71

When I get all the numbers and pics I’m going to post
