I JUST discovered my age group!

I am a Seenager (Senior teenager). I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50-60 years later.

I don't have to go to school or work.

I get an allowance every month.

I have my own ipad.

I don't have a curfew.

I have a driver's license and my own car.

I have an ID that gets me into bars and the wine store. I like the wine store best.

The people I hang around with are not scared of getting pregnant, they aren't scared of anything, they have been blessed to live this long, why be scared?

And I don't have acne.

Life is Good! Also, you will feel much more intelligent after reading this, if you are a Seenager.

Brains of older people are slow because they know so much.

People do not decline mentally with age; it just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains.

Scientists believe this also makes you hard of hearing as it puts pressure on your inner ear.

Also, older people often go to another room to get something and when they get there, they stand there wondering what they came for. It is NOT a memory problem; it is nature's way of making older people do more exercise.

SO THERE!!

I have more friends I should send this to, but right now I can't remember their names.

So please forward this to your friends; they may be my friends, too.

At 70 I get a real chuckle if asked for ID to buy alcohol. Being retired is the best part of life. The only drawback is not having
as much money as when working. I'm always busy and wondered how I found the time to do things when I was working.

When an elderly gentleman came to the clinic for an MRI, he was put into the machine by an attractive, young technician. Sometime later, when the examination was over, he was helped out of the machine by a far older woman. The gentleman remarked, “How long was I in there for?”

Senior citizens have taken to texting with gusto. They even have their own vocabulary:

BFF: Best Friend Fainted
BYOT: Bring Your Own Teeth
CBM: Covered by Medicare
FWB: Friend with Beta-blockers
LMDO: Laughing My Dentures Out
GGPBL: Gotta Go, Pacemaker Battery Low!

An elderly gentleman goes to his doctor and says "I can't hear with this ear anymore".

The doctor looks in his ear, takes a pair of tweezers and removes something. "This is a suppository!" he says.

The old guy replies "Oh, I bet I know where my hearing aid is!"

I was thinking about how people seem to read the bible a lot more as they get older, and then it dawned on me—they’re cramming for their final exam.

If you're talking about the past instead of future, if you start to tell about your memories instead of dreams, it means you're getting older.

Very true, I never thought of life that way, am not so old to tell my memories, but I still have dreams I want to fulfill, thanks Ulli.

Living in the passed, to me, shows you think the best has already been. Never give up, there is always something new around the corner. Just my opinion my friend.

Leon,
After World War II, Germany was divided and the Russia took East Germany. My fathers family was from there. My fathers family refused to be part of it, so in the middle of the night they ran with what they could carry. The wall had not yet been built. They left behind a farm and a moving business. My father was very bitter over the fact that everything you own could be taken away in a blink of an eye. My grand father reminded my father why all his draft horses all wore blinders. They know what is behind them, but blinders are used to make the horse concentrate on always looking and pulling forwards as we should. My father got the message that looking and living in the past would never solve a thing. They all went forward and all their dreams went with them. They became very successful again and my father not once ever looked back. Memories are great , but, they are the past, your dreams are the future. So, no matter how old we get, we should all have dreams to keep us young at heart, for as long as we can............. Ulli

Thank you Ulli for sharing this with me, and to all of us, like many of us here my life is /was not easy, and sometimes am not an easy man, i thank God for all the blesses I have, for my wife, when I turned 18 my father told me as a birthday present that from this time on ( 18 ) he would never ever gonna give me money or pay me for something ever again, that include the university, I say " FINE" , i went into a public university, with the help of my wife, now I have a lovely home in a good place, a good business, several cars, ( a 68 Coronet, still in parts but is mine) 14 employees, am a simple man and I think I am fulfilling my dreams little by little, next year is my ten wedding anniversary and as a gift to my wife and to me, we're going to Italy next year, she dosen't know anything about it, it's a surprise for her, and am fulfilling a dream of mine since I was young: visit Florence, I already buy the plane tickets, never look back except to remember me who I am and were I came from.
