The Blame Game

Back in 84 I was working at the local Dodge dealer.. When the first FWD Turbo Daytona’s showed up at the dealers.. The Monday after the first weekend there were two sitting in the shop wrecked... Torque steer and incompetent salesmen.... It doesn’t need allot of power if the “driver” isn’t prepared for what happens when you step on the skinny pedal....

Add serious power & the skill curve goes up exponentially...

I watched the fast and furious. Driving fast is easy! People are idiots give us what we want and when we can’t handle it we want to blame someone else. That’s why we have warning label on everything.

That reminds me of the first time I jumped on a Omni GLHS lol. Took off from a light and ran away from a Camaro but the 1-2 power shift took me by surprise even though I knew it was probably going to torque steer. Didn't lose it but it was kinda severe and went all over the lane.....but kept it between the lines! Those cars were kinda crazy.
