I have noticed lately that there are dash pads on eBay that are almost 1/2 the price of others. The difference being that the lower priced ones are on an ABS core and the others are on original steel cores. My question is has anyone used the ABS core type pad and also your opinions on these. My thoughts are if they fit and look good, will they last? Or do they fit and look good? If they sit out on a summer day in the south will the plastic crap distort, melt or anything else? I'm okay with less money, unless I'm going to have to buy another in a season or two. I'm not okay with the prices people like Just Dashes gets for their products, but have paid their prices on occasions.

I installed a foam repro dash pad on a fiat 124 spider , the client bought it and I put it on
he would of better of redo the old steel backed one. the fit was terrible. he has since sold the car
not sure about the mopar ones . good luck
my belve's running great and thanks again for selling ,me the rear door glass

What’s the going rate of a nice black factory original pad?

I had a customer buy one of the cheaper ABS pads. it looked ok installed. but install with caution.

My Satellite has cracks in the dash pad. I got a quote from a guy to repair it in the car. 1250.00
:monkeyleft: Me hard

1250? That is ridiculous. You can pay someone to take it out and then send it to Just Dashes and then pay to have it reinstalled for less. If not I want that job. :)

Just dashes told me they couldnt do it

I researched the reviews and ended up buying the repop with the metal core. It's that kind of job you hope to only do once. So, I spent the extra cash to do it right. Besides, the factory pads last 50 years and they had metal cores.

I bought one three or four years ago for a Coronet I had.. never used it .. now I have a Charger and was going to put it in that .. ****.

I been watching YouTube videos of how to repair them going to junkyard to see if I can get some old dashes to practice with
