Ok fellas. Most if not all of us have some experience with some guy who says he has more horsepower than he does and we know it because we just know right. Like "its making 500 horse", and your like "not with that pee shooter exahust and 600 edelbrock bro". There's a guy in my group of friends that seems to gain hp by just looking at his car. He has gone from "around 400" to "around 500" in the last few months. He told one of us 550. Finally I couldnt take it anymore and told him to come look at my car because I wanted another 100 horse too. Sheesh. Let's here some stories about these types of things. Sharing is caring.

The neigbor kid's honda "makes 700 at the wheels". But it's been on the side of his house for 4 years with no signs of life....

Biggest scandal around my area was a guy with an orange 66 charger who put a Daytona wing on it and had a fender tag made that said NASCAR test car. .he tried to pass it off as a real thing Chrysler did, but got busted by some guys who were actually part of the Daytona program. .not a horsepower story but ranks right up there if not worse!

Wow! That's low. Whata dbag. Bring on the scandals!

My car makes so much horsepower, if I point it east and floor it, with good traction gripping the tires to the pavement, it will slow the rotation of the earth.

Wow! Must be at least 100 horsepower. At least!

I propose the following:
The next time a blabbermouth gets lippy about how much power his car makes, suggest THIS...
We can take your car to a dyno and if it makes the number, I'll pay for the session. If it doesn't, you pay for it and give me $100.

I'm not sure I even care what the number is anymore. I must be getting old.

Oldie but a goodie...

Best friends brother's friend had a 74 Cuda 340. Story goes he could put a Coke bottle in front of the front wheels and the car would clear the bottle on launch....on the street. Circa 1990. Yea, sure he could.
