Hey does any body know if there is a trick to install the dash switch panel. I'm trying to prefit before I dye the lower pad. I was trying to install from the front. I wonder us it that the pad has shrunk up over the years?

If it's the original pad you are correct about the shrinkage. Warm it up with a heat gun or lay it in the sun for a bit before you try and fit it back in

I think its just naturally a tight fit. I filed all the rough edge off the bezel before I painted it just to minimize the chance of it scratching the vinyl going back in.

Thanks, I think I’m going to have to do the same, the corners on the right side are very sharp

When you install the switch plate , I assume the lower pad is already installed to the dash, do you install the switch plate with the switches installed on the plate or not?

I think the switches can go in from the back but don't quote me !! I'm pretty sure I installed mine with the switches already in place.
