I bought Moog tie rods and sleeves, the package said made in USA. I compared them to a set I bought as part of a front end suspension kit.
The differences are apparent, the Moog are better made hands down, the. knuckle area is larger and the way the body of the tie road becomes the thread looks better designed and stronger.
The import tie rods just look cheaper compared to the Moog.
The adjuster sleeve of the Moog is of a thicker steel than the import. Just a heavier duty unit as compared to the import.
Price? One Moog tie rod id more that double of its counterpart.
You decide what's best for you. I decided I wasted my money on the import and im much happier and feeling better about the Moog.
