Got a PM from this guy Batteryreciy trying to sell me on a battery maintainence plan I think.
Looked like a group message.
New member with zero posts.
 
Sadly a lot of new member only trying to sell stuff, they think that just because this is a place dedicated to mopars, all the members are rich.

Have no fear .....as soon as I saw the conversation as reported, I gave him the Spanish Archer. :D (El Bow)

Feel free to report any other suspicious activity like this - the sneaky bastages will try all sorts of ways to get their advertising wedged in here or other sites. :mob:

I've banned two of them so far just in the last couple of days. Used to get them quite often at another site I used to be a admin on. Lots of times they will join and stay dormant for a good while then will wake up and spam the crap out of a site. Used to catch them by looking up their user names and IP addresses by looking in the admin section and if they showed up on the 'stop forum spam' site, I'd axe them before they even had a chance to do anything. It was unreal with some of the user names they used lol. The really strange ones were usually suspect and were spammers 99% of the time.

Kinda surprised I did anything yesterday! Got a flu shot about a week ago and have felt like crap ever since and yesterday was worse. Doctors say it shouldn't do that because it's a dead virus. Well, something is in it that makes me feel like crap every time and I just get a dumb look from them when I say that. Anyways, thinking maybe a portion or two...or three...or four of alcohol might help things out!?
 
My wife is 43 and never had Spam until about a month ago. I fried up some spam and was eating it. She asked what I was eating. I didnt tell her but just gave her a slice and said try it. She did and loved it.

i just got over that " flu" ??
whatever it was,it laid me low for 3-1/2 weeks..yeah.
make sure you eat good and dont try to overdo it like i did,and have a relapse.
about 2 weeks in,i felt good for a day and worked too hard.
really paid for that.

also,seeing as we are speaking of Spammers,how about Scammers?
shouldnt we have a list here of the known scammers for our parts?
there has been an epidemic lately of people getting ripped off on the fb site/cl site and others.
they always say they have what you need,and once you pay them,
they disappear quicker than my ex after she got her alimony payment.
 
We see it regularly here it seems. Just a suggestion, other forums I'm on require at least 20 posts before you can even see the classifieds.. let alone post!

Funny how that works sometimes. It's like it takes some time to process the shot. Better than the full-throttle flu though I guess..

I buy very little off of FB but do sell some on there. When I do buy something, I try to stay real local and just go look at whatever it is I want and never pre-pay......and am ALWAYS armed! Heck, sold my Creep on FB recently. 98 TJ and hated that bastard but the guy that bought it like it and I'm glad of that lol
