The cutting edge of robotics is moving ever more quickly towards ubiquity in global society. Watch for robot "rights" to be a hot issue soon. A.I. is also on the knife edge. It is, and will continue to be, slipped into our daily lives bit by bit. First it's a ROOMBA then ALEXA then CORTANA then GOOGLE Assistant and on and on until the real deal is not so scary. The problem is that having a robotic assistant in your home is exactly like going out and taking a complete stranger by the arm and installing that person in your house, with free reign to do anything. This is true because YOU have no way of knowing FOR SURE what your robot assistant is programmed to do. What back doors have been left in it's software for future upgrades, back doors that could be used by bad people to tell your new helper to do literally any damn thing. Things like listen to and record all conversations in the home, made on network phones , lap tops, etc. Reprogram other devices in the home. Record passwords, account numbers, alarm codes, safe combinations, retina scan data, fingerprint data, voice print data. Compare historical data for anomalies like when you said you wished the socialists would all die. Years later when they have the White House and lash out, that little tidbit could see you incarcerated...I could go on....
