I do mechanical work and I have a customer (old guy) who insists without fail on getting out his corded old school troublelight every time he calls for service on anything, even though I carry everything I need with me. He has never shined it on anything other than my face the entire time I work on whatever is broken! My kids on the other hand, are well trained, so maybe, just maybe I am a dick, but i always hold my tongue while working with customers.

My observation. Anyone that has a flashlight in their hand, at some point, WILL shine it in your eyes!! Bar none!
