I am looking to purchase a car cover for my '68 Charger. I plan to keep it in the garage most of the time, but there will be times where it will be outside for a few days to a week at a time.
I'm interested in hearing some comments on what cover works best for you. I'm not looking for the cheapest economy cover. I would like to get a good quality cover that will hold up well.

Just be cautious of covering outdoor and give thoughts to watching a trailer with a tarped load go down the highway. That's your paint being beaten under there on a windy day!

Dustop for mostly carport or better. Wind is the enemy, so is rain. No deals and none last longer than 4 years with some weather exposure. They all put swirls in the paint. Lesser of two evils for bird **** and airborn crap plus trees. I use one alway. Still hate em. Try putting it on alone on a windy day. All overpriced too. Get your wallet.

I agree with Dennis. For the most part I believe car covers do more harm than good. No matter what the material you will rub the paint. Outdoors on a windy day you will rub corners and could even burn the paint.
To answer your question evolution fabric, or technylon is the best outdoor car cover.

California Car Cover guy here too. Bought the dustop for about $200. Excellent cover

Have a California car cover for the Charger and it fits nice, but I did store the car outside one year and the wind would sometimes blow the cover loose. Had the center gromet bungied down to the car, and the paint was rubber pretty good on the lower edge of the rocker panel. The rest of the car OK.
For the Jensen, I bought one of the 7-Layer car covers off ebay for around $50, and it's a pretty nice cover for the price. Not sure how well they do outdoors over time, but it stayed on the car during the Hail Storm, and got some holes in it from the hail. I bought another to replace it, but the car is in the garage now.

Outdoors, the $40.00 AutoZone cover (chinese) disintegrated (turned to dust) after a year, although the box claimed it could last up to ten years.

Now garaged indoors, the "Noah" car cover is holding up well now after about three years. Paid good money for it. I can't find a commercial front loader around here with a gentle cycle, so I only clean it off with my leaf blower for the time being.

Yes, sir, the box claims it could last up to ten years. That means the BOX will last, not the chinese cover, lol...But, thanks, good to know the AZ cover won't work for me...
