That’s OK, while reading that story in the link I scrolled down through the other headlines. One of them was about two teens convicted of cruelty after holding a deer down and kicking the **** out of it. I’ve said it here before; my species sickens and embarrasses me.

I dont pass judgement without really knowing the whole story. Everybody jumps on the "you are bad" bandwagon in these cases without any real facts... That being said, sounds like her mother was on Medicaid at this point, and that means her excess funds must go to the nursing home, aside from the few dollars that could be spent on her home (if any) and herself (meaning the mother). Just about any other use is going to be considered fraud in a hurry.
