I bought a pair of magnum force upper control arms on ebay ( brand new 200 bucks, couldn't resist) which I plan to install on my 66 coronet. I recently installed borgeson power steering on the car (was manual) . I want to take advantage of the power steering by installing parts that will allow adding 3 or 4 degrees of positive caster when I line it up.
I see you sell adjustable strut rods. My question is : as the torsion bars are fitted to the lower control arms how much adjustment is possible with the strut rods? Don't they have to be left perpendicular more or less to the torsion bars? I considered adding these to further be able to fine tune the alignment settings.
Also what front shocks would you suggest with the changes I've outlined. I don't want to ruin the ride by making things too harsh. I've installed many KYB shocks on early Mustangs and always felt they ruined the ride. Too stiff on jounce.
Look forward to your input.
