What's Your Go-To Mixer ?

seeing as how @GetX'd accused me of being a 'soak'....I usually grab the first cold thing worth drinking in the fridge when I'm in a hurry. just came in from 3 hours of weed-whacking and mowing my lawns....dusty & stinking hot. First job after a cold shower is ripping into a locally produced Crushed Apple Cider. Very nice and refreshing.
Might have to progress to Heineken soon....can't see anything else worth having for breakfast.

:xscuseless:

Talk about drinks. This event required 60 bottles of wine that a friend and I donate. They must be around 30 dollars a bottle and we let them pick them out. That's my donation for the event. Last year a Limousine took us, waited and brought us home. I don't like it, but, my best friend is BIG into it. He has one of the studs dogs that is used in trying to get the perfect support dogs. They fly in this women, pay her and all expense. She holds each puppy and can tell in a few minutes if the puppy is a good candidate for support dog training. The rest are sold a pets. To be honest, the room is full of people that have more money than brains, huge money. What do you tell your BEST friend, no, he's always there for me and that's the end of that..... It's this weekend. My wife and I will drink our share. Bottoms up!!!

I have about 3 drinks a year. I went 25 years without. I feel I have matured enough to enjoy some Makers Mark neat. Christmas and our guys fishing trip.

Bought another 30 bottle and went Saturday night. Ate dinner with Bobby Plager and donated more money and drank my share at the open bar. The painting sold for 4700 and we raised over a half a million. It cost 39,000 to raise and train one dog for a person in need and that person pays nothing. Each dog is capable of over 200 commands.

Although I don't really like to go, it's incredible to watch these dog that are trained to pick up an object as small as the back of an earring. The blues are big sponsors and even with the team being out of town, they sent representatives to the event. Boeing donated 100 thousand and the money is well spent. With all that being said, it was fun to see my friends smile when we bid on **** we don't need and our table brought in over 18 thousand dollars. As we left, he donated another 10 thousand. His mother passed away this past year and she always donated 50 thousand a year. He looked up and said, this ones for you, thought I going to cry. You can't make this stuff up!!! I'm not in that league, but, it's fun to watch.
