I'm OLD!!!

thank God!
for the first thing........
now it's the last.....

(the blue pill.):love2:

I am sure you have heard the saying, "It now takes me all night to do what I used to do all night"

You know you are old when you're working on the wiring under the dash and you find that those floorboards don't let you move your head back far enough to see what you're doing. What the hell happened? I used to be able to see this fine?

That picture gave me a vertigo flareup!!And that would be me under that bed.

WHAT did you say,I couldn't hrar ya:blob1:

That's my game plan for today;since the new gauges arrived yesterday. I pulled my seat out,but that doesn't make it any easier. Oh;did you know that those little letters on the fuse box get smaller as you get older:angryfire:? Neither did I.

Hemi-itis;you're right about the vertigo issue. I've yet to get used to laying on my back inside the car;not a problem working outside of/underneath the car. Claustrophobia? Something...

Wow this is a great thread.....Ohhh......yea....dang.... I just remember....

yeah I see it daily too,
my elderly dad has been living with me since 2007
I see a noticeable difference constantly, it's sad watching it too

I actually bought the house & sold his cabin upcountry
to move him down mostly off the mountain in Sept. of 2005,
so he wouldn't be shoveling snow
or getting pinned by his snow-blower, almost died of exposure
or having to chain up, constantly just to get anywhere

(I have to do all that now, he can relax & enjoy what time he has left)

Then it took another 2 years to sell my Duplex in Rancho Murieta CC
Eastern Sacramento Co., after I sold his cabin & bought the new house...
I had listed my place in Rancho Murieta CC,
right after the sale of his cabin,
he got top dollar for it, in Sept. of 2005
Then listed mine, right after the beginning of the
real-estate crash Nov. 2005
I finally sold it in Dec. 2007,
for almost $100k less than the original listing price...
(still almost $180k more than I bought it for)

yeah I see it a lot, daily...

I still feel good, I hate wearing glasses to read...
But I noticed some "stuff" is getting a tad bit harder to do too...

Or I'm just much better at procrastinating :poke:
