The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics

Very clever and great way to visually teach mathematics

I remember it from a long time ago and with all the crap cartoons these days, figure it will eventually be lost. In fact I doubt most people would find it interesting or understand it in this generation. I hope I'm wrong. Thanks for looking.

How are things in the Land of Enchantment?

Rainy - which is VERY unusual for this time of year - we are normally very windy and dusty in southern NM(Las Cruces)

Really liked your post.

Reminded me an ah -ha moment in geometry regarding lines, curves, bounds etc. being made up of a infinite number of dots(points)

Or a curve being made up of an infinite number short lines - curvilinear, etc...

Great memories of learning this back in my early schooling - many thanks again for posting

We've been deluged with rain and there seems no end in sight. I was lucky enough to get a car out about a week ago when in it was sunny for about 10 hours. We've had a lot of wind too. Now all this COVID stuff is just a PIA.
