thinking of going to a different coil
& Pertronix Digital Ignition box, pnx-512 $216.97 Summit Racing
probably in black not silver

ditching the ol' MP chrome box & blaster coil
been down the MSD rout on many occasions too,
want to try something else, this looks intriguing
FBO site rates them pretty well

anyone ever use it ?

Actually, it wasn't really.That was back in the day of working in my parent's garage. We had two identical sears floor jacks with a 6" block of wood on top positioned at the intersection of the frame rails and transmission crossmember. This was a 3-man job. Once the car was up high enough, and the engine was underneath, two of us would be lowering the floor jacks evenly while the 3rd was in front guiding us to make sure that it was lowering evenly left and right. It worked out quite well back then, but today, my lift takes the place of the floor jacks.

I'm trying to find rear drum brake assemblies for my projects. I put a wanted ad here but didn't get many responses. I almost had one deal but I didn't like the price.
With so many rear disc brake kits out there, I just thought that there would be all sorts of people willing to sell their drum brakes they removed.
