I looked it up and the town Sidney is in the middle of nowhere SW Nebraska. 4 hours one way from Colorado Springs.

Looks like a cool ride. Be interesting to see how solid it is and Fender tag pic.

From the pics posted, it looks solid. Wonder why the VIN tag is white?

From what I see I think it's a great price, would like to see pic's of the Fender tag. I too was wondering why the VIN tag was White.

I've seen some with half or more of the paint off them, but never all of it. You can see remnants of the black paint by the rivets and around the 4......

Nice car, bottom needs help. Tags been wiped clean, bare metal, but those are the original pop rivets

But why does the dry transfer look so nice?

But why does the dry transfer look so nice?
And why does the chrysler turn from white to black when the black overall paint disappears? I'm guessing it's a perfect imprint of the black that the tag was painted before the dry transfer was applied. That paint gets protected as the sun bakes off the white lettering and surrounding black paint. That said.. not the first like this to pop up..

Right again, that is the original, I believe. Those factory replacements rivets go for 25 to 35 dollar a pair, I have a small jar half full of them.
