$600 used dried out transmission mount painted then listed as NOS...

PT Barnum said .....there's a sucker born every second! Even giving the seller the benefit of the doubt that it was an NOS part at some point, it obviously has been used in a car without the correct thick square washers as stated above, and only torque could crack it like that, and the bolt impressions are proof that it was used in a car,and repainted to appear like an unused NOS part. The seller either bought it like that from a scammer,or is the scammer!

It seems some people will do anything for a buck these days...There is no way the seller can't look at that part and see that it is an old used mount FRESHLY painted... Anyway I purchased a 71 Tuff wheel padded center cap recently and I asked before the purchase is there any bubbles in the chrome ring? Reply "No it's really nice with maybe a small mark or 2"... This is what I got... Currently getting a refund as I sent it back as I told him I wanted the one with-out bubbles like he said he had.....

Thanks I could not get a "copy" on them when I right clicked.. Saved for Posterity!!
You don't have to right click to 'copy'. Just press the 'print screen' or 'PS' button (usually to the right of the F12 key) and then paste it into an image editing program.

I actually have two 727 motor home transmissions that were both behind 440's that I pulled the drive train out and scraped the rest. Both transmissions have the yellow trans mounts. Does this make them the 5 clutch Hemi or Sixpack transmissions internally? I don't know yet. I haven't torn either one of them down.

....lol, I made him an offer for $1. He countered with full price. LOL

Now how you look at that and ship it after saying "No Bubbles" is the unbelievable part that makes you want to... However I did get a full refund and shipping was paid for both ways... Only hassle was repacking it and relabeling it and going to the Post office with all that is going on...

No longer available.
I am sure this thread was the reason. I don't know the guy so maybe he got duped and just isn't that bright. If that's the case the sharks in this hobby will eat him alive quickly...

Until people like this are taken out to the woods and a bullet put in there head, there will continue to be MORE and MORE of them....[/QUOTE

wait until the counterfeit stuff
