Would you trade or sell a 1968 Plymouth roadrunner 383 car for a 1970 Satellite automatic car ? Is the 70 body style more desirable?

I personally don't think so but the choice is yours. But don't listen to me, I think 62 Darts are cool cars. LOL

Starting 1970 I felt like Mopar designs started to shift from what my styling preferences are. Not really a fan of the E body, the B body styles starting '71, etc. Just my two cents...

I have a 70 Bee,I would keep the RR

is the satellite built?

If it was a 70 RR then yes. It’s the best year. It has it all great styling, charger dash gauges. It’s just awesome. Kim

The 68 bird is the more desirable vehicle in the mind of the market. In my mind as well.

A little history, I had a 70 Roadrunner I traded to a friend and was sorry from day one. It bugged me for years, but now Im restoring a 68 Roadrunner post car and not looking back any longer. Im very happy with the 68. The first 68 Roadrunner I saw in the winter of 67/68 I fell in love with and wanted to own ever since. So for me, I say stay with the 68!

If it were 68 RR to 70 RR, yes trade. Satellite no, but everyone has those opinions. Money wise on equal cars the RR comes out on top. It all boils down to which you like best, they don't make either one anymore.

Never, but that's just me. Desirable is in the eye of the beholder.

I would absolutely trade!! I love the grille and tail lights of the 70 a whole lot more than the previous years. I wouldn't care about the resale value or the value of the name "Roadrunner". I love the 70... but of course, that's just my personal taste.

I've read here some very interesting opinion about the 68,'s pretty much I can resume it to this, as you know 2nd gen b bodies are the most desirable of all mopars, being the 68 the first year is a plus, I concur 70 is the nicest of the runner/ satellite, but if I were you I keep my 68 IMHO.

Unless you love the '70 front and back ends and want the Air Grabber Hood, I'd keep the '68 RR.

My first Mopar was a '70 RR and now have a '69, it's still everything I wanted in a Mopar. The '68 setup the '69 for MT car of the year...
