Yours looks plated to me. Think your style booster

was plated, I'm not an expert.

Hey Fran. Wow that's an old pic of my car, lol. Yea the booster is plated but not orig. to the car. The PO converted it from drums all around to front disc's.

Rebel, I realize this is not a 68 Charger, but for your info and perhaps others, here is the original PB Booster and MC in and just out of the 66 Coronet 361 BB car.

I do not know if they did something different in 68, but there was obviously no paint of either in 66. Best, B.
