I've done that lots of times on a BobCat. You just have more guys hanging off the end of the loader. I remember the time Dad and I went over to pick up a Charolais bull in Oklahoma. We were in an old pickup that barely fit the bull with the tailgate down. The front wheels hardly touched the ground the whole way home.

I noticed that the guy pulling the overloaded trailer with the ford tractor steered it all over, with the front wheel of the tractor two feet in the air. Do ford tractors come with independantly controlled rear brakes?

All farm tractors have independent brakes. They are very helpful. And many have a pedal that locks the axels. You have keep pressure on it when using it and it disengages the axels when you let off. That's a safety feature, for the tractor not allowing it to be locked all the time.
