Recommendations for valve covers 440

Any recommendations for valve covers for 440? I have stock on there now and want to spruce it up a bit, thinking black ribbed. I was reading somewhere that the Mopar Performance were not being produced anymore. That is the type I would prefer, at least now anyway.

You should be able to buy Mopar Performance on Summit. That’s what I bought for mine. Look great but they’re not always a square fit on the heads and Lamar need to be adjusted a little. Mine did as I discovered a leak that I just couldn’t stop. That’s what it was.

Be careful with any taller covers if you're running HP manifolds.

Personally I would just detail the stamped steel covers and call it a day. I like to keep it stealthy though.

I'm a big fan of M/Ts.
Aluminum with engine color between the fins.

Neither summit nor jegs has the mopar performance valve covers anymore. Their part numbers don't come up in a search.
Edelbrock makes a nice black with polished fins cover, but they are insanely priced, in my opinion.
I like the Mickey Thompson , but they haven't been produced for mopars for a LONG time, even though the Chevy and Ford covers are now being reproduced (in china).
I bought the plain cast summit brand covers a while back. I got them as-cast, they are now available only as polished versions. $107. I had to "adjust" the hold-down holes on the intake side, to get them to work on both iron and aluminum heads with vc studs.
I think (?) Edelbrock sells the same Chinese cover with black powder coat and their name etched on for $400 at summit, and Indy wants $500 for them
Today, I would spring for some eBay fabd covers, and block sand the flanges to make sure they were flat. I did that to my Chinese cast covers, but I used a surface plate to check em. They are sure flat now!

I have Mopar Performance polished and I painted them body color inside the ribs on top. With that being said I previously had some anodized gold Moroso stamped aluminum covers and I liked them better but wanted a change and sold them on ebay. If a person can find a set now they are expensive.

Just took a little side trip on eButt and had a gander at 440 valve covers and HOLY CRAP, some
folks have lost their damn minds on what they're asking for some of them.
On the other hand, there seems to be plenty of variety on anything other than the plentiful, cheap Chinese
fabricated ones.
A good set of Direct Connection or Mopar Performance covers is still a possibility, looks like.
Keep in mind also that one of our good friends Leanna @CudaChick1968 at Phoenix Specialty Coatings
can take a set of the aluminum jobbers and make 'em pretty for you, too!

The **** of powder I will admit the fab chin covers needed a little help to be perfectly flat.But $130 for HEMI covers was a must.The same covers from Moroso are $800

I'm still using a set of those moroso stamped aluminum covers, with studs and spreaders, but the gold anodize was so scratched up, they now have a coat of turquoise on em.

I would paint the M/T and top of fins in engine color or even body color.

I was about to get some retro valve covers, but then I thought nobody is ever going to see that but me, and gurls aren't gonna like me cuz I have cool valve covers.

I still might do it, but the dum summit chrome ones on there now are working fine. The only thing I don't like is it takes forever to add oil through the breather port with the baffle there.
