Need to purchase rear side marker for a 68 GTX, I see they offer flat or round style, are they referring to the lense ? Also where is the place to buy a quality piece.
TIA

The side marker on your '68 is round now isn't it? "68's are round, '69's rectangular.

He’s referring to the curve of the bezel in ‘68. Different car lines had different round bezels in ‘68. I’m not sure of the answer, sorry.

Demonic by bezel are you referring to red what I called lense?

I ran into this too. The part description everyone uses is confusing. As both the ( flat) and( round) are both round. I believe the flat one does not have the slight bend in the bezel. And the round one does. On my 68 net, the rear side marker is centered in the quarter panel break line. And the bend in the bezel follows the same contour.

Hers a side view of the 2. You can see the bend, that lines up with the quarter panel break.

The round bent ones were found on Darts and Chargers...
I believe that all of the round flat ones were found on the remaining A&B-body cars.
C-bodies had the square ones.

Are you saying, my 68 net did not come with the bent style ?

You can wait for Old Bee if you want but I'll tell you absolutely 68 Coronet & 68 Charger both use the one with the definition line at the rear quarter panel....

Here is a picture of what I have I’m assuming this is FLAT version

1968 Coronet & Super Bees had "flat" in the front and "curved" in the rear because of the
accent "bend" in their rear quarters vs. "smooth" front fenders (no crease).
1968 Chargers had a continuous crease all the way down the side, so "curved" side markers
front and rear.
Everything else, if I remember right, use the "smooth" markers.

NOS singles will pop up now and then. From what I have seen, the Trim Parts made pieces are of the best quality for the reproduction pieces.

Thanks everyone, will be ordering form Trim Parts made in USA.

i have a set of 4 nos two red and two amber for 68 plymouth

Plymouth and Dodge were round. Chrysler / Imperial were square for 1968. Don't recall any exceptions. My 68 Road Runner has Round and my 68 Three Hundred has square ones Good luck. Does Murray Park in Ohio have any for B body (since Plymouth used round ones on C Body I believe)
