I like some, it’s my favourite genre of movie. I don’t like most of the newer ones, though. The first three Star Wars, the first Total Recall, that kind of stuff. Story driven, not special effect driven. I find the newer ones are all dazzling special effects, and hokey fight scenes that drag on forever. Some of the old black and white ones were great. More imagination driven.

We have all of the Stargate series. Canadian show... Another terrific show is Eureka. About a secret U.S. Government town where they develop stuff. Light comedy, some drama, great stories.

I loved the Battle star Galactica from the 2000's, and Farscape as well.

Buck Rogers in the 21st century. Erin Grey as Wilma Deering. ‘Nuff said.

We have all of the Stargate series.

Same...all 10 seasons plus the feature length movies.

Funny how a lot of the planets the team visits actually look like Canada

I also have the full set of "UFO' on DVD ...haven't started on that one yet...can hardly wait.
Can you tell it was made in the 60's.....scared the crap out of me as a kid.

I watched threw Stargate
As a kid didn't care for it .
I grabbed them recently from mom and dad and started watching them after game of thrones was done I enjoyed it I'd like to get the newer ones Atlantis to watch them

Wife and daughter have every episode memorized of all three Stargate series: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe. If you get a chance to check out Eureka do it; if you like SG you’ll like Eureka.
We also have every episode of every Startrek series and a bunch of others. Winters are long and dark here.

Farscape was great, and Dark Matter (guys that worked on Stargate). The Expanse is my current favourite though.

Starship Troopers is great...from the king of satire Paul Verhoeven. The actor/actress choices make even more sense if you get the satire. Just a continuation of his work on Robocop and Total Recall.
