UPS keeps updated the delivery date of a 340 crankshaft later and later. Dropped off Stratford, Connecticut with destination La Paz, Baja California Sur. Hope it arrives in one piece. Tracking so far:

Had that happen to me when I was shipping a leaf spring back to ESPO to be re-arched. Apparently the label got lost or damaged and UPS just shipped it around the country until a UPS location in Arizona opened the box and found my letter and info in the box. They then shipped it to ESPO overnight. This was about 16 years ago. Thought they might have improved a little over this period?

Yeah when label is Missing they just keep sending it around because no one wants to deal with it!
Id call and ask what's up then they can put your tracking info and the package together wherever it is that day

I was also overcharged on billing by over four hundred dollars, charged "Worldwide Saver" instead of "UPS Standard". The good news is after calling the 800 number, the call was answered promptly and I was promised a credit after only five minutes on the line.

If. And only if it makes it through Mexico. :D. It has the Panama canal to go through to make it back to the U.S to arrive in Kentucky for its maiden voyage.

when you work at UPS your suppose to be able to lift 80 lbs. then throw those into a truck trailer after being dropped on the floor numerous times .

Crank arrived today about 2:30 PM. I did not have to sign for it and stranger still, there were no import/broker fees or taxes added on. I did not unwrap it yet, hoping it arrived in one piece.

sounds like someone wanted to see what was inside
destroyed the 4 sided plywood crate, had to re-crate/re-box it back up

or shippers destroyed the org. crate in shipping/handling
& had to build a new crate

who was the shipping co. that finally got it to you ?

I'm sure I don't need to say it
BUT;
I'd look it over really well, make sure it's not wrong or messed up
