I have the engine to transmission braces, shown in pic. For 318 small block to 727 trans.
I swapped to a 440 big block with 727 trans. In my 1966 Charger. What braces do I now need? 440 has TTI headers.

I've never seen any on big blocks. Maybe C bodies. Odd, you would think.
My 66 charger had a 318 Poly with 727 trans. And the braces in the pic. Would think the big blocks would have em, rather than the small blocks.
But, all the braces I've seen for sale, are for small blocks

I never seen braces on a big block 727 set up.....ever, and parted a bunch of Mopars starting in the mid-70s.

Sort of like early Chrysler's left hand thread lug nuts?
Well, someone left the LF lug nuts loose on my dad's mid 60's Chevy pickup and by the time I heard the wheel knocking over the radio (started feeling it in the steering wheel too), they had made it flush with the ends of the lugs. Luckily, was only going 20 in a 20 on a smooth neighborhood street and stopped so imo, the ChryCo left hand lug nuts were done for a reason. They just didn't let it be known well enough for the techs to be in the know.....
