This is what my outpatient surgery at St Charles hospital on Monday was. I'm sore when eliminating due to the invasive procedure but most say the pain passes after a couple of days. Given the alternative, this was good for me I just won't be drinking much fluids till I heel better.

Damn auggie, thanks I guess, lol

The ones of us that still have a prostate have been prodded, rotor rooted , scoped ect.
That is a interesting procedure. I will have to ask about it. I take enough flowmax nowadays to make a junkie proud.
Glad it went well for you.

I hope everything went well. I have a slight problem peeing once in a great while and know in a few years I may need something done. Get well soon.

Getting old is not fair, once we have it all figured out, we're to old to use it!! Get well soon!!

Aaron's, lmao.
Anybody mixing up a cure in a Mason jar in his moms basement on a duct taped blue tarp and tin foil on the wall is off his meds.

Thanks Auggie, I hope you make a full recovery. I had never heard of that procedure, looks very promising. I’ve had 4 biopsies, 2 came back positive so I’ll probably have to have my prostate removed before I can’t urinate completely. My dad had that problem, had the roto-rooter and subsequent infection just about killed him, wish that procedure was available for him.

Get well. Amazing what you cam have done as a outpatient.

Thanks, every one it's been less than twenty-four hours and it burns to pee now I know how a drain feels after Rotor Rooter is done. Have to limit my fluid intake. MD says I can walk and drive but no exercise, lifting anything over seven pounds, no SEX for ten days.

At first, reading your heading, i thought this was going to be about prostate cancer, and not peeing problems.
Fortunate, your not going thru a prostate cancer diagnosis, or surgery, treatment, for that problem, like lots of the male population have.
Wish you well for recovery.

Thanks Augie! I have been wondering about this since I saw an ad for it on Facebook!. My PSA is over 32! I have had 2 biopsies as well as a very uncomfortable MRI. There is NO cancer, just aan enlarged prostate. was your urologist already familiar with this procedure or did you have to look for one that was? I have Kaiser so I will send a not to my urologist right now about it. Hope your recovery goes easy!

Did you type that right?
A PSA of 32, had biopsy's, and not showing any signs of cancer.
I never heard of a PSA score that high.
You are a lucky man.
When my PSA level got to only a 7.2, and the biopsy was done, it determined the cancer was confined to the gland.
Did the radiation seed implants.
This was six years ago, now.

Looks about the same as clearing an artery in your heart. Hope the pain passes and the pee flows soon
