Peak hurricane season is from mid-August to late October so we're pretty much going into the middle of that right now.

I'll have to see if the weather channel changes their forecast. Showing this now.

That's Paulette and Rene and yeah, those are not a threat to the U.S. but the one off the tip of Florida isn't even a named storm but has the potential to become one. Being red means it has a 40-60% chance of growing up....

Invest 96L is a fairly big low pressure area and it looks to me like it's developing. And I don't watch the weather channel very often as there lots of imaging on line to look over. The GOES Sat is used by several weather forcasters...and not sure what NOAA uses but I'm thinking they probably do.

Man I have to say that Mother Nature right now is really pissed off at us mere humans. Nothing but anger she is stirring up!!! I have an old Service buddy who lives over in Richmond that I need to touch base with and how they are doing. Stay safe down there...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Mother Nature is a real cruel BITCH
seems she is pissed off this year
Lightning starting fires, in Ca Or Wa Nv Id (probably Alaska too)
add "Draught (more like lack of proper water & forest maintenance)
most have been arson or man-made causes, electrical co.'s & the Fires out west"
add multiple Tropical Storms, Torrential Rains & floods (or pending yearly flooding)
add stifling humidity, also all across the East of the Mississippi everywhere
add a couple more pending class 3+ Hurricanes,
add 100's of pending Tornadoes, still to come across middle & south US
add the pending snowstorms this winter, supposed to be more than normal
add the Pandemic, all we need is Locust swarms on-top of it now
add fire & brimstone falling from the sky
for an apocalypse of biblical proportions :D

media blowing all of it way out of proportion

all in an election year too :carrot:

:luvplace:

I'll buy a 1000 acres in the hills of Missouri and we can all live here!! Be safe!!

Whatta ya know, now they're showing it. Ever since the lockdown The Weather Channel sucks. Even local weather is so inaccurate day to day.

The info is for the last green icon on its track. Hang on to your hats New Orleans. Stay safe down there.

You can Thank "Africa" their deserts for all these Eastern born storms
& probably 90%+ of all the Hurricanes, all generated
& most started/spawned by heat coming off/across their deserts
then crossing warm water/Atlantic
& thru the Caribean then to come here
strengthening over the warm waters in Gulf, when they get that far

maybe we can get reparations from Africa :poke:

Katy bar the doors, Sally is coming.

Still have your car up high Biomedtech guy?
